Marc Gagnon - Owner
Marc is a Saint Francis Xavier University Alum, who went on to attend Conestoga College & George Brown College. Marc has always had an affinity for nature, the outdoors and working with his hands. Marc's passion is to create objects that are pleasing to the eye and that spark joy. A true environmentalist, Marc has a passion for using salvaged wood that would otherwise be turned into waste, to create artisan crafted masterpieces that soon become family treasures. Marc works with the grain of the wood to create harmonious contrasts. He makes furniture with nominal hardware (screws, nails, etc.) using dovetails, dowels and other woodworking joinery whenever possible for a much cleaner look with maximum strength and stability.
As part of a large, extended family, Marc understands that meals are often a time when family stories develop and are told and retold over generations. Well loved and well used tables and serving pieces, are a cherished part of generational storytelling;
